The Blues are trying to balance their books by selling some players

Chelsea Football Club is reportedly open to offers for their 22-year-old star, Armando Broja. The Albanian international has attracted interest from Premier League clubs Fulham, West Ham United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Chelsea is willing to sell Broja if the right offer comes in. Despite his potential, game time has been a challenge for the young striker at Stamford Bridge. With Mauricio Pochettino expected to sign a proven goalscorer either this month or in the summer, it seems that Broja might be heading towards an exit.

In the current season, Broja has started seven out of 17 games across all competitions with two goals and one assist under his belt. He's been competing with summer signing Nicolas Jackson for a starting position under Pochettino.

Chelsea are still unlikely to sign any striker

Interestingly enough, it appears that any potential departure of Broja doesn't hinge on Chelsea signing a replacement this month as Christopher Nkunku is expected back in action soon after missing three games due to a hip problem.

Broja spent the 2021-22 campaign on loan at Southampton where he emerged as an impressive attacking force for the Saints. As their main attacking outlet during his tenure there, he managed nine goals and one assist in 35 Premier League games at St Mary's.

However, since returning to Stamford Bridge from Southampton his form hasn't quite lived up to expectations which puts him seemingly fighting for his future at Chelsea. Despite having four years left on his contract and being valued by Transfermarkt at €28 million ($31 million), he may need more consistent playing time elsewhere.

Three Premier League clubs are in race for Broja

Fulham, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, all of which play with a target man, have shown interest in Broja. His performance at Southampton has made him an enticing option to bolster their attacks.

Prior to signing a contract extension with Chelsea in September 2022, Broja had also attracted interest from Serie A club AC Milan due to his spell at Southampton.

In conclusion, while Armando Broja's future at Chelsea seems uncertain, there is no shortage of interest from other clubs. Whether he stays or leaves will likely depend on the offers that come in and how Pochettino plans to shape his squad moving forward.
