The Riyadh Season Cup will see the battle of Messi vs Ronaldo once again

Sunset+Vine (S+V), a leading television sports production and media company based in the UK, has announced its plans to produce coverage of the Riyadh Season Cup soccer tournament. The event is set to take place in Saudi Arabia's capital, with S+V handling the Arabian studio output.

The tournament will feature three games between now and February 8, involving three teams: Al-Hilal (champions of the Saudi Pro League), fellow Saudi club Al-Nassr, and Inter Miami from Major League Soccer in the US. Notably, soccer icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will be playing for Al-Nassr and Inter Miami respectively.

DAZN and BeIN Sports are already part of broadcasting pool

Alamiya Media has been appointed as the host broadcaster for this prestigious event. Furthermore, four networks – MBC, BeIN Sports, DAZN, and the Saudi Sports Channel – will cover it.

BeIN Sports had previously announced its partnership covering this event across various regions including Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Asia-Pacific region along with France & Turkey through Digiturk outlet specifically. It's worth noting that BeIN also covered 2023 edition featuring same trio of sides.

S+V confirmed that Alamiya Media would serve as a key technical supplier for this event while ensuring all presentations are delivered in Arabic.

The Riyadh Season Cup is expected to witness bigger heights every year

The Riyadh Season Cup forms part of an overall festival known as 'Riyadh Season,' funded by the Saudi government. This festival features both live sport events along with entertainment activities taking place within capital city itself.

This year’s edition is being called "The Last Dance," thanks to participation from Ronaldo & Messi. Other sporting events during 'Riyadh Season' have included top-tier boxing bouts along with Super Cup games from both Italian and Spanish domestic soccer.

Earlier this month, S+V retained its host broadcaster position for the ILT20 short-form franchise cricket competition in the United Arab Emirates. This role involves producing a world feed, English-language pre-, post-, and highlights shows, along with a dedicated Hindi language feed for the league and its global rightsholder Zee TV for 2024 edition.

Sunset+Vine’s involvement in Riyadh Season Cup is set to bring high-quality coverage of this exciting tournament to sports fans worldwide.
