Jack Grealish is starting to hit the top gear in the crucial stage of season

Manchester City's star midfielder, Jack Grealish, is back in the form that saw him play a pivotal role in the club's treble-winning season last term. This was confirmed by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola ahead of their Premier League clash with Luton Town on April 13.

Grealish had an impressive run during City’s 2022-23 campaign. The 28-year-old made a total of 50 appearances for his team, scoring five goals and registering 11 assists. His exceptional performance played a significant role in helping Manchester City secure three major titles - the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup.

Grealish looked scratchy for most part this season

Despite his stellar performance last season, Grealish has faced some challenges this term due to injuries which have limited his playing time. He has made only 31 appearances across all competitions during this campaign and managed to score three goals while providing three assists.

However, it seems like he is now back on track after returning to action at the end of March.

Grealish played an instrumental role during Tuesday’s match against Real Madrid which ended up as a thrilling 3-3 draw. This was their first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals where he showcased his regained form and fitness levels.

Man City desperately needs Grealish’s magic now

Guardiola's comments about Grealish returning to his treble-winning form are not just encouraging for Manchester City fans but also for sports betting enthusiasts who might be considering placing bets on upcoming matches involving Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager, said:

“We are really pleased (with Grealish), We miss him. He has to continue until the end in that level. He has to improve in some departments, finishing for example, but this is the Jack we know of last season that helped us again to do it.

“This season unfortunately he could not be there (throughout). But I’m pretty sure he has learned the lesson and try to help us in the next half.

“Not (just) next year but the years he has ahead of him for his career (hopefully he) can perform in that level.”

This is indeed good news for Manchester City and their fans, as well as sports betting enthusiasts who closely follow the team's performances. With Grealish back in form, the team's chances of securing more victories in upcoming matches look promising.
