Salah looked in no mood to talk to media after the game ended

Liverpool's recent 2-2 draw with West Ham saw a touchline clash between forward Mo Salah and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. The incident, which occurred as Salah was preparing to enter the game as a second-half substitute, has sparked discussions among sports fans and betting enthusiasts alike.

The clash happened while Salah, who had been benched following a criticized performance in Wednesday's Merseyside derby, was waiting to be subbed on with just 11 minutes left at The London Stadium. After a missed opportunity by West Ham, Klopp turned towards Salah on the touchline. An exchange of words followed before Joe Gomez and Darwin Nunez intervened to separate them.

Salah declined interviews post West Ham match but did make an intriguing comment: "If I speak there will be fire." Meanwhile, Klopp chose not to reveal what triggered the incident but confirmed that they had discussed it in the dressing room.

Klopp responded affirmatively in the press-conference

When asked if he believed the issue was resolved, Klopp responded affirmatively during his press conference. He said that from his perspective, it was done.

Footage from wide angles showed Salah approaching the touchline alongside Nunez and Gomez for substitution. As Klopp reached out for a handshake, there seemed to be some hesitation from Salah before he eventually reciprocated. This led to another exchange of words between him and Klopp before they were separated again after West Ham missed another chance.

Liverpool now all but out in the title race

This latest setback adds further strain on Liverpool's already faltering title bid. Having won only one of their last five Premier League matches, they now sit one point behind second-placed Man City (who have two games in hand) and two points behind leaders Arsenal (who have one game in hand).

Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, said:

"I'm not in the mood to talk about that to be honest or look at that at all, We had to win here, we knew that, and we didn't, and now we have a little bit more time between now and the next game. We try to get the boys ready again and we will go again."

While this event has certainly stirred up conversations among sports fans and betting enthusiasts, it remains to be seen how it will impact Liverpool's performance in their upcoming matches.
